Vancouver: It's Sunny!
Who cares if it's January?!? If the sun comes out in Vancouver - you go to the beach! That is my rule of thumb :p
OK, so for those of you that don't know...Vancouver almost broke some world record for the most consecutive days of rain (I think they were at 28 days)...and when it stopped: this was the result. We had to go to the beach!

And in the 8 weeks that I've been here, we only had 2 days of snow and 2 days of rain.. the rest was just SUNNY!! I guess it's true that Canada and the US ARE different ;-)
But you know: the sweet ain't as sweet without the bitter! I'm sure you had the best time on the beach!

Guys I'm sorry, you are not allowed to complain about the weather until you live in Ireland where there is a strong possibility of rain 365 days of the year and everybody over the age of forty has long since forgotten how to make small talk about any subject other than the weather!
